I was trying to corroborate the correct surname for Lousie Wolsk (Queensland BDM has her maiden surname as "Wolsk" on her children's records - most likely anglicised for the English-speaking Australians.)
Then I came across Prussian Wolski, the records on Family Search look like it could be this Louise Wolk [Wolsk-1]
However, I do not understand the language well enough to decipher things other than names.
Places would help.
Can someone help me, please ?
I would love to go further back on all my Rebetzke / Hoog lines and have faltered at language. [Hoog-74], [Rebetzke-14].
Any advice, help would be appreciated.
