We have here Benjamin Dishaw was born on March 14, 1841 in Norfolk, Norfolk, St. Lawrence, New York, United States. He died on April 22, 1915 in Louisville, St. Lawrence, New York, United States
What made him interesting is his LNAB just about every source except his gravestone has alternate spellings. It took me a few LNAB changes to get the final. I think his genealogy might be interesting not only is he in my favorite Regt of the Civil War the 106th New York but the roots might be interesting regarding this surname. I believe French surname roots
The bio in part on his FindAGrave memorial reads
…”Later he put up modern buildings and at the time of his death theirs was one of the most attractive farm homes in this section…”
Imagine the era and yet the beauty of his home and the work and effort in his life to achieve this for his family I can say the wording shows a true devotion of love to his family and his service to his country is commendable a life in an era we can only get glimpses of

Also: wife’s obit mentions being married Christmas Day 1866 however his obit shows 1868; they went on to have 9 children per obit.
