I am looking for information abt William Henry Matthew Howard, born in KY in 1846. His Dad was born in Ireland, and his Mother was born in France. Young William ran off from a monastery at age 15 and joined the Civil War. He was upset because his twin sister died in a house fire and no one told him abt it till he came home for his Mother's funeral. After the war, he never saw any of his family again. I found him in Saline County AR in 1880 purchasing land as a farmer, although, he was smart enough to teach having been good in Math. He and his family eventually traveled to southern Oklahoma in wagons in 1896 where they settled in and around Hennipen OK. William died in 1914, and is buried in the Hennipen Cem. He was also related to Singleterrys.

Any help would be appreciated:

Death of W. H. Howard

W. H. Howard, a well known and highly respected citizen of Hennepin, died there at 11:45 last Friday. Burial was had in the Hennepin graveyard. Rev. Willie Ferguson conducting the services. The deceased had not been in good health for a couple of years but had only been confined to his bed about two weeks.

Mr. Howard was 67 years old and was one of the most popular citizens of the Hennepin community. He had been here a long time – probably 25 years – part of his life being devoted to farming and part to teaching school. His genial nature and upright life made him a legion of friends who are grieved at giving him up. He had been a member of the Baptist church some 35 or 40 years and has now gone to claim the reward of the faithful. He leaves a wife and six children, all grown and married.
