8th cousin once removed (my dad's 8th cousin through our Mennonite Clemens ancestors of Montgomery County, PA).  Also more distantly on my mom's side through some old New Amsterdam connection.

Favorite Doors song: Riders on the Storm.

We're 10th cousins through our common g...grandparents the (PGM) Partridge's in early Medford, Massachusetts. Gosh, his voice and their songs can still hypnotize me even today...

Hi Azure

Jim is my 22th cousin.

I thought the album of 'An American Prayer' was a solo album of Jim Morrison, poetry combined with mixed music of the Doors. It s been years since I read a biography. I think I remember a quote of Ray Manzarek about 'An American prayer': 'Jim s egotrip' There re also at least two album releases after the Death of Jim Morrison.

What was my favorite song of The Doors I can not tell, neither show what was my favorite video clip of that song. What I can tell you, it s rocking, very dark, and shocking.

This one I still like very much, it is a well known song of The Doors (of perception).

23 degrees from Jim Morrison, favourite song " People Are Strange"

It has become almost a family anthem and commentary on the many odd people we encounter.

James Morrison [Morrison-4075] and I [Nunnally-9] are 18th cousins twice removed. We are both descendants of my 17th and his 19th Great Grandfather, Thomas Tunstall (abt. 1360-1415) [Tunstall-2].

However, there is a chance we may be even closer through my paternal tree with Morrison being the surname for my 2nd Great-Grandmother Mary Ann (Morrison) Jessee (abt 1845 to 1932) [Morrison-14424]. I, unfortunately, have not worked out that section any farther back, yet. I look forward to one day working that line further and seeing if the connection is there.
