9th cousin once removed, common ancestor being pioneer André Demers.

Christopher and I are 21st cousins 4 x removed.  Our common ancestor is Edmund Diencourt (1252-1327) who is my 24th great grandfather and Christophers' 20th great grandfather.  The connection is on my maternal Illingworth Line.  

From the marriage connections between my Illingworth, Pybus and Mallaby lines I have a third granduncle, Peter Mallaby, a second granduncle Edwin Johnson Pybus, and a granduncle Bernard Hall who all emigrated to Toronto, Ontario.

Edwin was a Harness Maker in Newmarket, Peter Mallaby was a Blacksmith, and Bernard was living in Cayuga when he joined the 114th brock Rangers and was sent to France where he was killed in action on the first day of the battle for Vimy Ridge, 9th April 1917 he was just 21 years old.  

I liked Christopher Plummer a lot, especially as Captain Georg von Trapp in The Sound of Music.  I have no professional connections to film or theatre and never had the aspiration for it.
