Jonah Bergert Hatton

Birth:	Aug. 16, 1809 Hampshire County West Virginia, USA
Death:	Oct. 15, 1864 Montgomery County Missouri, USA
Born in Hampshire County, then Virginia, Jonah Hatton was the son of David Hatton and Sarah Bergert Hatton Burgess (1785-1842). Hatton to Lawrence County, Kentucky as a boy. By 1838, he was elected Justice of the Audrain County Court and confirmed by Gov. Lilburn Boggs. He married Sidney Canterbury and had at least ten children. Birth:  Oct. 17, 1812 Louisa Lawrence County Kentucky, USA Death:  Aug. 5, 1880 Montgomery County Missouri, USA The daughter of Nimrod and Mary (Molly) Franklin Canterbury, Sidney is shown in the 1860 Census living with her husband and ten children near the town of Loutre in Montgomery County. GG Aunt Lucinda may have been born in Audrain Co, Mo. She married John Culpepper on 12 October 1864, two days after her father's tragic death.
