Yes they did a lot of work, but they forgot to mention anything about the T226C mutation. In the study previous to this, it was misreported as T225C.
They haven't found this mutation in any other ancient specimen anywhere else in the world, so one would come to the conclusion that it is unique to North America.
So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that since this person has that mutation, it means she was Native American.
Seeing that the Acadians were dispersed worldwide, that would not include any modern day testing, except to confirm their origin! The Acadians are the only group in which this is being overlooked.
It seems that Truth and Reconciliation means something else for the descendants of Acadians, just like the Indians or any of them clause in Royal Proclamation meant something else for their ancestors....and 400 years later, the war rages on.
