The best way to find an connect with relatives is to enter yourself and your known ancestors into wikitree and work from there.  You will undoubtably find other people (your cousins) through common ancestors.  I have "met" dozens of previously unknown cousins through wikitree.

I suggest you volunteer to be a wiki-genealogist.  There are many benefits and it's easy.  You can do so from your profile page with just a few clicks and a short paragraph explaining your intentions.
