Owen Sayre (Sayre-320) was added as a son to Daniel Sayre (Sayre-291 by Scott Conner but is now an orphaned file. I can find no documentation showing that Daniel and Rebecca Bond Sayre had a child born in 1747 named Owen. Sarah (their daughter) married a John Owen whose will mentions his wife Sarah and six children. Owen Sayre is not mentioned in Daniel's will dated February 2, 1760 based on Banta's "Sayre Family: Lineage of Thomas Sayre a Founder of Southampton", page 68.

If the Owen Sayre was born in 1747 in New York and died in 1760 in New York, he would only have been 13 when he died.

There is a John Owen here's the link on Family Search Daniel Sayre

I would just disconnect him and change the name to John Owen and add him as Sarah's husband.

Owen is the father of Daniel per the Connection Finder.

I just did the connection finder and it shows Owen is the son of Daniel and Daniel is the father of Owen. This just tells me what has been entered but I feel there was an error in entering Owen as a son of Daniel.

The PM on Daniel Sayre is the one that created the Owen profile, so try sending him a message from Daniel's profile, asking about sources for Owen, since there is nothing on that profile.
