Well they need to be merged but surely not until the wife and child are detached. "Unsourced family tree" cannot substantiate such a claim. Needs to be handled by a project.

Shouldn't the last name be Hanover according to this discussion https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1146833/standardising-the-name-the-royal-house-great-britain-hanover?show=1146833#q1146833

(Added tag for England)

The England Project (as PM for Hannover-16) will organise the merge. Thanks for spotting it John.

- Thank you Jo , for taking up the baton - -

perhaps the (N=NN)'s have it , which led me to your thread of the 1st Dec. It in turn , led me to revisit my copy of ''Britain's Kings and Queens'' , by Sir George Bellew KCVO , Pitkin series 1971 Ed. He uses 'N' in his narrative throughout for the House of Hanover - -

However , Wikipedia defines the City of HaNNover , and then goes on to use HaNover in its narrative ! -

Maybe , fortunately , there is no 'NN's in Windsor - - - cheers

It's a tricky one and for the later monarchs, there is a very good case for one N Hanover, as that was the adapted version in Britain.
