G2G: Was Abigal, the wife of Henry Bennett m 1733 Lyme, CT- Abigail Moss or Morse?

Question

So, I'm working on this week's challenge (the tree of Scott Fisher), and I've come across a discrepancy.

In WikiTree, we have that the wife of Henry Bennet was married to Abigail Morse, d/o John Morse of Watertown.

In the Barbour Collection, there 1 entry for the name "Morse" in Lyme: the marriage of Abigail Morse to Henry Bennett in 1733.

BUT..

• I can't find a record that John had a daughter Abigail. (although that was his mother's name)
• The family is based in Watertown, MA, and there's no obvious connection to Lyme.

Another possibility, is that the marriage record is either mis-transcribed or in error, and that she is Abigail Moss, daughter of James and Marah (Borden?) Moss of Lyme.  

• Although there is no birth record for Abigail, a daughter Abigail is mentioned in her father's probate
• Location is a better fit.  
• Abigail's mother's second marriage was to Henry Bennet, Sr.

I think the evidence better supports the Moss theory, and I'd like to make that change.  

Thought? Objections?

It seems a bit unusual (but by no means impossible) for a woman to have moved from Lyme to Fairfield in those times.

Well, that's another question.  I couldn't find anything relevant on the page cited for Families of Old Fairfield.

The marriage of Dorothy Bennet to Ephraim Leach seems to be the only solid Fairfield record.  Do you think the parents of Dorothy are questionable?

Scratch that.  There's a probate with a distribution for Henry in New Fairfield.  I'll add that to the profile.

My comment was just a hunch. I have gotten the impression (based on the lives of my ancestors and other families that show up in the same records) that it was rather common for people to move from Watertown to Lyme, but for some reason I have seen almost no movement between Fairfield County and the Lyme area.

Apparently Jacobus didn't either, he initially placed the family under a Fairfield Family, and then corrected in the additions volume.

Well, I think I'm going to go ahead with this.  Its tricky because there isn't great information on this Morse family.  There's a deed that places her father John in Needham in 1718, and that's the last I could find of him.  Several of the children moved to Attleboro.  And then there are about 6 baptisms (including one for Abigail) listed in Bond that I can't find anywhere.  I even check the pastor records in v. 4 of the published Watertown records.  But still nothing that connects them to Connecticut.
