The FindAGrave shows the same name and comment shows a 106th flag. The birth seems not to match. Is this the same Joseph Barling? The wife’s obituary or his obituary should say if this is the Joseph in the 106th N.Y. Need help finding the obit.

What threw me off the trail was nyc as thec106th was recruited in St. Lawrence County. However the pension shows another regiment the 72nd N.Y. Co. K
