G2G: Who were the parents of Elizabeth Eleanor Charlotte Augusta Bowes Cavendish Lyon?

I've tried researching the ancestry of this woman a number of times, with no success.  Who are her parents, and do they bear any relationship to the 9th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne?

I'm not sure where she might fit into the family of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne, (if she is related to them at all) but her current Last Name at Birth (LNAB) is incorrect.  The existing records only have her LNAB as Lyon, and in any case the name wasn't changed to Bowes-Lyon until after she died.

Before that they were Lyon-Bowes - see The Complete Peerage, 2nd edn, vol 12 (1) p. 402

She was a widow when she married John Platt. Her first husband was George Crowe. So think it would be good to find a marriage record for her and George. Also there are not profiles for her children so would be good to add profiles for them.

I tried a few first name searches for all of her first names in the order they were listed expecting something to come up, but nothing.

On her marriage she gets listed as Elizabeth Eleanor Charlotte Augusta Bowes Cavendish Lyon, widow of George Crowe, and signs E C A Lyon Crowe.  On the indexation of her marriage contract she got listed as Elizabeth E. C.  A. C. Lyon only.  Not found that notary's acts anywhere accessible so far.

Funeral lists Elizabeth A.C. B.C. Lyon.

on her Platt children's marriages the last name is only Lyon or Lyons.

I think the Bowes Cavendish may come from her mother, and her LNAB would be Lyon.  Certainly doesn't use Bowes-Lyon anywhere.  No trace of her earlier marriage  or husband here that I can find on a quick search, so may be a migrant.  Did you find her on 1825 census perchance?
