Looking for info on Abigil Allen (Allyn)Warren born in CT died in PA

Question

Abigail was born in 1781. In the Genealogical and Family History of The Wyoming and Lackawanna Valleys Pennsylvania it states on page 358 she was born in Connecticut and was a close relative to Ethan Allen. Also her last name was spelled Allen. Which relative connects I have yet to find out. She passed away in 1861. Every single first born male after Abigail and Joseph has "Allen" as their middle name.  I contacted the town in which she was "buried" and they in turn had a person who has lived there a long time and knows the cemetery call me and after talking to me checked it out.  Neither Abigail or her husband Joseph are in the records for the cemetery and they could not find the gravestones.  My father always said he was related to him.

I saw the source you mentioned that states that Abigail is a close relative of Ethan Allen (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Allen-1). While this may be true, I didn't see a source to explain the connection.

You may want to research the Allens living in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut. This is where Abigail's husband Joseph was born and where they were living in 1820.

On Joseph's 1810 census, Parker Allen (b. 1761) is on the same page. On the 1800 census, Parker is on the same page as Joseph's father Moses Warren Sr., Joseph's brother Moses Warren Jr., and Joseph Allen (b. 1755 or earlier). Abigail may be related to those Allens.
