Regarding Violetta (Gist) Lewis 

Two Gist brothers from Baltimore, Maryland, seem to have a daughter that married George Lewis:

William Gist³ had Violetta Gist⁴

John Gist³ had Violet Gist⁴

Which daughter married George Lewis?

George Lewis married Violett Gist, a daughter of John Gist. In John’s Last Will and Testament, he mentions his daughter Violet Lewis and appoints his wife Mary and George Lewis as executors of his estate.

Violetta Gist is a daughter of William. She (unmarried) is mentioned in the Last Will and Testament of her brother John in 1782.
