I see him with Jessie Hunnicutt (1735-1767).  No sources though.  Just some Quaker documents I can't make out.

Perhaps there is a Quaker Project on Wikitree.  If so, they should be able to assist you.

Also, you could try editing your question and add a QUAKER tag.  So you can find out whether or not he is a Quaker.
Mary, I think you are correct about Moses possibly being a Quaker and I think it is a good idea to add a Quaker tag.

Okay, good.

Am not sure if I was clear about the Jessie Hunnicutt/Moses connection.  In the profile I saw Jessie was his father.  And Jessie was a Quaker.

If this is the right family.  There is a brother named Dempsey.  There is a bit more info on him.  And I think they where both in the war of 1812.

Good luck!

The problem is that some think that Jesse may not be Moses father because there is no documented proof. I hope that the proof of who Moses father is will be found.  Jesse may be Moses father or a relative.

Sorry, I was mistaken about  Moses Quaker information I had posted.

Mary, thank you for helping me.

Have you touched base with the Quaker Project?  They may be able to ascertain whether or not he is a Quaker.  If he is, they may have information on Quaker sources.

Hi Mary,

I am going to join the Quaker Project. I looked at the profile of Moses Honeycutt's wife Margaret Lucinda "Elizabeth" Honeycutt formerly Stout  and saw this information

Birth record: Quaker Monthly Meetings Index. Margaret Stout, Birth Date: 11 Sep 1765, Birth Date on Image: 11 Ninth 1765, Birth Place: Alamance, North Carolina, Father: Samuel Stout, Mother: Rachel, Event Type: Birth, Monthly Meeting: Cane Creek Monthly Meeting, North Carolina Yearly Meeting, Meeting State: North Carolina, Meeting County: Alamance Death records for Elizabeth Honeycut show the death year to be June 1850, Yancey Co., NC. She was 82 and cause of death was rheumatism. (NC ID# MRT51_2432) Elizabeth Lucinda’s parents are Samuel Stout, b. ~1740 and Rachel Chancey, b. ~1741.    Thank you, Mary Cole!

Current evidence suggests he was likely a son of Augustine Warren the  3rd or Augustine of Bladen County.
