I gifted a total of 5 Ancestry DNA kits to four of my 1st cousins and one for their Mom (My Aunt) who is 92. I also went all in with a Big-Y from FTDNA for myself. I plan on transferring their DNA to FTDNA and GEDMatch once the results are in (with their permission of course).

Just ordered one for each of my sisters. Now will have all my siblings tested. With them in the fold I hope to begin using visual phasing for my grandparents. As soon as they start sending out the YDNA coupons I will order upgrades for brother, uncle, and male cousins.

I have gifted 15 DNA kits to relatives through FTDNA. This time I am gifting to my 3 adult children. I hope to one day be able to gift a kit to my late brother's daughter. I have lots of results to do Lazarus kits for grandparents now. Exciting! FTDNA is cheapest I have ever seen it now!

I'm hoping to gift myself with sending in my Aunt's & my cousin's before end of year. Had them waiting since last year. Upgraded my uncle's Y-12 to a 37 marker. Want to upgrade his with a FF too.

Last year I did my husband, my children, my daughterinlaws, and sent one to a cousin who has been my genealogy fairy godmother.   This year I am not doing kits as they are still figuring out the other kit!

I gifted myself a Living DNA kit because I really really wanted it :-)

I'm gifting myself a R1b - DF96 SNP Pack to augment my Y-DNA testing.  Since I already match other surname bearers back many generations, sharing my results will likely benefit others as well.
