Marilyn, welcome to G2G forum.

The parents of your grandmother Ruth were John Royal and Ellen Kammer.

Ruth and Kenneth got married in Franklin, OH on 14 Nov 1929. The marriage record lists their parents:

Hi, Marilyn!

Have you tried searching on the familysearch.org website? You can often find some really good information there. When I enter in the information you've got so far on your grandmother's page, I see there is a FindAGrave listing, showing where she is buried, with a photo of the headstone, some family photos, and some family recollections--and this would be something you can mention or considering adding to her profile page.

Here is the information you can cut and paste in the "Sources" section for her profile, if you wish:

Find A Grave, database and images (https://www.findagrave.com : accessed 19 February 2018), memorial page for Ruth Ann Royal Alspaugh (15 Nov 1905–9 Apr 1962), Find A Grave Memorial no. 14451715, citing Union Grove Cemetery, Canal Winchester, Franklin County, Ohio, USA ; Maintained by Rev. Carol Alspaugh Schleich (contributor 46483846) .

_______

Familysearch also provides a death record for your grandmother, and you can cut and paste the source information if you wish in the "Sources" section of her profile:

"Ohio Death Index, 1908-1932, 1938-1944, and 1958-2007," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VKLW-RX2 : 8 December 2014), Ruth A Alspaugh, 09 Apr 1962; from "Ohio, Deaths, 1908-1932, 1938-2007," database and images, Ancestry (http://www.ancestry.com : 2010); citing vol. 16869, certificate number 27675, Ohio Historical Society, Columbus; Ohio Department of Health, State Vital Statistics Unit, Columbus.

Hi Cynthia

Thank you for responding so quickly to my plea for help! :D I had already searched through my grandmother  and yes found her grave through a relative. Interesting turn of events occurred tonight as I was searching once again for my grandmother's parents, I found her but, I had to sign up to gain access to that information ... so I did and found my great-grandmother! and just as that happened my sister private messaged me on Facebook giving me the information I needed .... finally! What synchronicity!!

Thank you again for all your help and yes, I will use these references in the profile ~~Marilyn R Knopic
