I am trying to dig deeper on Bessie Luxton 1872-1906 who was married to John Stoneman.

Question

I am the great grandson of Bessie and am an avid genealogy researcher.   This is one branch where I have hit a dead end going back.   Bessie was married to John Stoneman in 1894.  

She died in 1906 in Devon as well.   My mother is now 90 yrs old and I would love to be able to go back a little further on her line as a surprise.

In the 1901 census (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XSW8-NXS) Bessie gives her place of birth as Zeal Monachorum, Devon (which is a little south of Nymet Rowland as stated on her profile). That seems to make it likely that this is her in the 1881 census living with her parents, siblings and great-uncle in Nymet Rowland:

Bessie's birth on https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp seems to be this one, which shows her mother's maiden name was Powlesland:
