G2G: Jane (neville) Chamberlain profile states she was born in 1525 but further down in Biography it says 1725???

I would lean toward the 1525 because her husband was born about 1520 and her daughter was born before 1550 according to the WikiTree profile. Jane died in Oct. 1575.

Not to mention that she died in 1575.  But that little discrepancy is not the only problem.  The profile is unsourced.

to check the source you would have to read that entry in Richardon's books, you could try your library, I am not an American or have any gate way ancestors, so my intrest in his books are low, the books are expensive, but someone on wikitree might have a copy. you could ask in gtg if anyone could do a look up for you.

All we have is now on the profile.

Apparently the key source is an article by Gary Boyd Roberts abt 1986-7 on the Royal ancestry of Edmund Hawes and Thomas Bressey, in ''The Genealogist'' #7-8 (the American one, but not ''The American Genealogist'').  Haven't seen it.
