G2G: Carlos Gibbs (abt. 1850 - bef. 1910) Is there any more to his existence?

Question

Carlos was born about 1850. He was the son of Ichabod Gibbs and Mary Race. He passed away before 1910.

I’d like at least one or two more sources. Any help is appreciated.

be careful of the death in France, if individuals put Y in death field to indicate ‘Yes’ ancestor is dead, the automatic location input in other systems convert that to ‘Y, Somme, Picardie, France’.

You probably know more but Ichabod Gibbs is found here with Mary in the 1850 census Ichabod Gibbs in 1850 census

This is the Ichabod Carlos is attached to on the Family Search tree -- but there are no children with Ichabod and Mary in this census which makes me wonder if he's really the son of these people.

Thank you. The story from family is Carlos went to france and either died or never was heard from again

The 1860 census is the only source I can find so far but this is helpful
