Just wanted to share the only photo that I have of my great great grandmother Elizabeth Wescombe (1843 - 1929) with her daughter (known to me as Gran) with the extremely rare forename of Modhitt & her children Wilfred Aubrey Ballard (my grandfather), Courtney Waldron Ballard & Modhitt Vera May Ballard. Taken whilst they were "hopping" at Maxfield's Hop Garden, Three Oaks, Sussex, England, in 1915. She is of Romany descent & was both midwife & layer out of the deceased as was my Gran.
