Is there anything genealogy-related that you would love to receive as a gift this holiday season?

Is it a wish that one of our Secret Santa Elves could grant?

Dear Santa,

I would really love to receive a very special genealogy gift this Christmas. I really need help finding out when and where my great great grandfather, James Young, was born and who his parents were. Also, was the William Young that lived a couple townships away his brother? I have only been able to find information on James for a period of 13 years, from the date of his marriage to his return from Andersonville Prison in Georgia as a POW at the end of the Civil War. I'll gladly provide you with the information I already have for him if you can help since I haven't yet gotten to adding his profile to Wikitree.  

If you can't help with James, could you help me with my fifth great grandfather, Joseph Ferrebee? His tombstone here in Pennsylvania says he was born in Berkshire, England. There seems to be some big secret about why he left England that the one person I knew of who knew the secret refused to tell. I've tried to find information on him in England without much luck. There were several Joseph Ferrebees in the area of Berkshire and Gloucestershire. Maybe you could find me someone who knows English records and research much better than I do to help me with finding Joseph's family in England. I know he was in the United States by 1824 because he married in New Jersey in that year.

I've tried very hard to be good this year and would be ever so grateful if you could help me with one of these ancestors who have been hiding from me for quite a few years.

Keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that you will help me with one or even both of these men.

I am trying to build my mitochondrial DNA line in the tree. Sadly, on any of the trees out there it dead ends with the Rowes. Anthony Rowe Hite and his wife. I have gotten pretty good at this geneology thing, but this is still a mystery. It seems he lived in Frederick County, VA at one point. (I live next to that county). There are some records, but not enough to know where he came from or his wife Mary Hite. I want to get a mitochondrial dna test, but I’m not sure what good it would do with a brick wall.

I saw one of these questions was asked before, and I answered the question just now, but I'll make a short version here just in case:

My wish is for help with research on the Dossey family, especially those in Alabama. It's for my sweet uncle, who's in poor health and may pass away anytime. To his knowledge, the only ones left alive in his family is just him and his sister. The rest died from cancer and other health problems. I'd like to surprise him, but my auntie and I don't have much time on our hands since we're both caring for family members with health problems (they're in north Florida, and I'm in Washington state).

They've given me the green light on me researching his family, but what they don't know is there is the WikiTree family....

My ancestors are from India but I have run into a brickwall as all sources have only the first name (no last names) and I cannot find any other sources from India where I can get more information from in India. Both my maternal and paernal sides twice removed and up is difficult to find. I am in the US but am able to speak Hindi also.
