G2G: Did any Giffards emmigrate to New Zealand?

Ogilvy Giffard died in N.Z. in 1864 aged 37 years (N.Z. BDMs online)

Nathaniel Ariel Giffard died in Otahuhu, Auckland N.Z. "from debility & disease" aged 74 years in 1864 (Papers Past New Zealand)

There's plenty more if you check Papers Past https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/

and the scow "Jane Gifford" still graces our lovely coastal waters - so I guess the answer is yes
