My Soboloff family (not sure if it was spelled Sobolev) came from these areas.     My great-grandparents, Gussie and Isaac Soboloff (Sobolow in America) came to America in 1906.    Their children were Taube (my grandmother), Hillel, Risse, and Alte, and many in between.   Does this sound familiar to you?   Gussie's maiden name was Knigin, and her parents were Mordechaie (the Cohaine) or Max Harry Knigin, and her mother was Ida Sarah Kamenitsky.     Isaac's parents were Jacob Mose and Bloomer Soboloff.

Thanks.
