In the 1860 census, 6 year old Sarah lives with her mother and 4 siblings in Cannon County, TN. They are listed as white. Curious why you think she was Cherokee?

Her parents were Tilford and Sarah Preston Walls. All listed as white. On his death cert. Sarah's brother who died in 1927 is white on his death cert.

Not seeing any NA connections.
