Regarding Perec Wajsman ...Roiza aka Roijsa aka Rose (Waxman) Stern was born in the same

Radom area ie Ostrowiec Poland,,,wondering about the surname similarities

There is source for his birth that spells his name Wajsman.  That is determinative.  If he spelled it Waxman later in life and it is supported by a source then that should be his Current Last Name.  

His profile is managed by a leader of the Holocaust project, who is extremely knowledgeable about both genealogy of this time/place and WikiTree policies, so I wouldn't tend to question it unless you have sources that show something different.
