G2G: PDF file of A Genealogical History of the Fenstermacher Family, 1936 manuscript by Clarence Eberman Beckel

Question

I have a PDF copy of Clarence Eberman Beckel's 1936 manuscript, A Genealogical History of the Fenstermacher Family, which someone posted in a genealogy forum, and I have benefitted greatly from it. However, pages 574 to 664 are missing from the PDF file that was posted. Can anyone provide a file that contains the missing pages, or tell where it can be found? Thanks, Alan Vogel

This doesn't answer your question, but some years ago a Fenstermacher told me that the name meant "fence maker."

Frank, yes, German has many of these doubled-noun single nouns. Die Fenster = window; Das Macher = maker.

There was a concentration of the Fenstermaker surname in Ohio from 1840 to 1920, and a greater concentration in Pennsylvania in that time frame.

My internet searching indicates that Alan has been looking for these pages for some time now.  :-)

The Lehigh University Library has the papers of the author, including draft manuscripts and notes for this book: http://digital.lib.lehigh.edu/hidden/finding.php?id=26. It stands to reason that they would also have the published book.
